-“I have a story about Ramm: I helped him sell some paintings to a label owner named” James Lavelle who runs a record imprint called Mo’ Wax. A little while later I had my first gallery show at Annina Nosei in NYC. Ramm had shown at Annina in the early 80’s and was furious instead of being Supportive. There was alot of bad energy in the 80’s art world. In any case, Ramm left a series of messages on my voicemail saying all sorts of interesting things like “nobody runs the transverse like me. You tell Annina to go fuck herself! I am the master of the transversal alphabet, nigga! You ain’t shit and you ain’t never gonna be shit. I hope you die! Tell Annina to go fuck herself!” Needless to say I called back and said things like “you ignorant crackhead! I will smash your fucking head in with a bat if I see you etc. etc.” We haven’t seen one another in a couple of years, and needless to say, I do not like Ramm, and trust me, I know his work very well. I respect elements of Ramm’s work-and agree they are intriguing, but I wish people on the list could MEET and deal with both Ramm and Tricky. But hey, you’re only hearing my side of the story.

I have a story for you about the critic Paul Miller AKA DJ Spooky and THE RAMM:ELL:ZEE, of whom I have read about both, several times. I saw Spooky taking Hard Heat from the GOTHIC FUTURIST and Performer of the Equation, The RAMM:ELL:ZEE at the opening of Downtown 81. RAMM:ELL:ZEE was sad!...He was yelling at Spooky profusely so others around them could hear...Such as Fab Five Freddy, Glenn O’Brien, Maripol, DJ High Priest, and Michael Hollman to Inform them All of how Whacked Paul Miller is to write such an Embarrassing statement of “on the Dick” Policies toward RAMM:ELL:ZEE. Everyone watched as The RAMM:ELL:ZEE Destroyed him with Statements pertaining to James Lavelle of “MO WAX” as RAMM Proved what Spooky is Lying about. There is a Quote under the many RAMM:ELL:ZEE sites that States and proves that Spooky is a Liar. It reads...and I quote...Mr. Lavelle, if your house was on fire what records would you take and run with?...Mr. Lavelle replies: First my RAMM:ELL:ZEE’s!
After cutting off his Dreads for reasons of Money, unlike a real Rasta, just like J. M. Basquiat did, we find that DJ Spooky’s critique on the RAMM:ELL:ZEE as “ON THE DICK POLICIES” are Laughable. Art sells itself if it’s GOOD! RAMM Needs No Help.
This critique by this female futurist who watched this One Sided Verbal Battle with all of the rest of the 80’s “Hip People” of that “Downtown” Scene, which by Spooky’s Frozen Body Language showed that he Coward in the eyes of what I consider to be, the most important Performer from the NYC Subway culture, Its Military, and its FUTURISM on the LETTER’S CHASSIS.
After reading what DJ Spooky wrote for your Afro Futurist Site...I wanted the world to know about this Event that took place, and that I know that Ramm also Never had any Shows with Gallerist Annina Nosei. I know she sold three of RAMM:ELL:ZEE’s Paintings to a Collector in ’83 as J.M. Basquiat’s, and at Jean’s Price. Jean Michel had just lost a Bet with RAMM on who could Paint Jean’s Style the best...And Annina didn’t know about it...But Won it for RAMM! She and Jean Michel now Hated RAMM and then She went on to say Bad things about him I Read.
As a spectator watching....Spooky is the “CRACKHEAD” for challenging such a MIND!
RAMM:ELL:ZEE, at Downtown 81, said to Spooky that he Wished he had a BAT to give him....Spooky’s Love for an Audience, ended up in them laughing at him and All walking away as RAMM did! In a word...RAMM “SPOOKED” him! Remember Spooky, RAMM:ELL:ZEE does Run his TRANSVERSUS! It seems you don’t know his work well, because you can’t do the “BURNER” to Prove you do, and I’m quite sure the world doesn’t care if you dislike him or not!....In any of the Performance arts, I’m sure he would Destroy you! Since you don’t want to know what “ALPHA’S BET” is and haven’t Read it yet, you only Skipped through his IONICS! And Believe me, he’ll never Teach you Now!

Umm... folks, I think you’ve got your story a bit wrong. Just thought I’d write to mention it, but seeing the website, well... there aint no room to really figure out this (at least the way you all present it). Basically, I brought James Lavelle by Ramm’s house. That’s about it. Also, yes, I did a show at Annina Nosei a while ago. That’s it. Beyond that, there’s really not much more to the story. And no, I’m not on Ramm’s “dick” or whatever. Congrats on setting up a site for Ramm. I’m sure he’'ll get kids into his stuff. One thing: if you all are going to write lies, I’d appreciate it if you’d leave me out. Good luck with things.

what remarks are on the Afro-Futurism website? Can you give me a page URL? Also, yes, I brought James Lavelle by Ramm’s house, and no I didn’t flinch or whatever when Ramm was yelling in my face. I stood there and basically just looked at him. If I ran or whatever, I think that would be a sign of something else. But anyway, yeah, I’m not really trying to get into some funky, negative things...I don’t know the context of what you’re talking about, and this shit is crazy. If you can send me a URL for what you’re talking about, I’'ll make an inquiry, and I’ll try to figure this out. I don’t want this kind of stuff, and basically I wish Ramm would focus on someone else - he has been doing this for almost 7 years - with absolutely no result. Go to “who’s who” in afrofuturism, stroll down to what you wrote and remove what you said about ramm and stop playing stupid with us we don't like it, we adore ramm so believe us, your wrong about publicized him that way, you know nothing about the gothic’s or the bunner we know and we are right about you! We have more to say about you and others who think like you, you according to real futurist read from books “not good!” You have been analyzed. I’ve been traveling and just got back in town, and I haven’t checked what they put on the site in a while... so yeah, okay - now I see... look you don’t know sh*t about me. Leave your fucking message up. I’m putting one on my site to get rid of this sh*t. I haven’t explored Ramm’s stuff for years, and I have no intention of doing so now or in the future. I went to the afro-futurism site - what I’m talking about there is the way he’s behaved towards me and basically, yeah, I’ve always been pretty mellow towards Ramm and as I said earlier and in the statement, I liked his work before he bugged on me... I want this to end. And I’m sick of fucked up weird energy from people - what the fuck have I done to Ramm? Anyway, yeah, you’re right. I don’t want this in my headspace, and I’m sick of crazy shit like this. I will have any and all references to Ramm with my name associated with it removed from the Afro-Futurism website. It was you who bugged ramm by coming to his battle station without an appointment he told us in the first place and then bragging! Since The RAMM:ELL:ZEE is the original Tricky Dick (Sha Rissk) a voice and title used in the 70’s, he and I don’t know who this Tricky Dick is that you’re talking about Spooky. In the world of Gothic Futurism were he’s or your works does not exist, there is no biterness in a work or answer from equation, only science and your testimony in this pages that has shown us and you to be a “Wrong Turn” as a scientists and in sciences…Ramm World is the 21th Century.
